Artful is looking for a Social Media Manager to develop ideas, manage content and execute strategy across platforms. Artful’s social media strategy is to grow overall awareness and respect for the company, especially with museums, galleries, artists and collectors. From creating and optimizing content to developing paid campaigns, we aim to create a social media presence that is recognized globally by art world participants.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be involved in strategy, content, and campaign development that ensures Artful’s social channels are a robust and reliable resource for those interested in art world events with a focus on museum exhibitions and emerging to blue-chip artists. You will be responsible for developing captivating content around some of the art world’s biggest moments and participants, crafting thoughtful campaigns to position Artful as a thought leader.Candidate QualificationsSocial Media Strategy — You have at least 2 years experience crafting and managing social media in a corporate setting. You are keenly aware of the intricacies of social media platforms and the algorithms that govern them, and have experience optimizing content across channels. Key platforms are Instagram, LinkedIn and Youtube. Artificial Intelligence — AI knowledge is a “must” especially around social listening and sentiment analysis. AI search and answer engines are key for growth and traffic.Content Production — You produce weekly original Instagram Post and Story content as well as a monthly LinkedIn thought leadership article and are skilled at crafting a narrative with photo and video assets. You are highly capable of writing effective, entertaining copy for social media content across channels.Paid Marketing — The ideal candidate has experience creating, implementing, optimizing, and managing paid campaigns on Google, Instagram and LinkedIn. You will be responsible for two ad campaigns.Project Management — You are detail-oriented and have successfully managed multiple campaigns. You understand how to monitor and optimize the programs weekly.Passion for Art — You have a passion for art and regularly engage with the art world. An art-related degree or coursework is a plus.A Team Player — You thrive in a collaborative environment and have experience developing processes for cross-team collaboration.CompensationThis is a part-time position (8-12 hours per week) and will be paid by retainer based on experience with a range of $1250-2000 per month.
