Title: Senior Project Manager, Appraisals Essential Job Functions: The primary role is to oversee all aspects of report production for North American appraisals. This will include liaising with in-house and consultant specialists, managing large amounts of appraisal data in the company’s proprietary production system, editing/proofreading documents and producing appraisal reports to strict quality standards within the constraints of a demanding delivery schedule. Duties include but not limited to the following: - Work closely with the Director of Appraisals to manage the overall processing schedule, workload and completion of all appraisal documents - Follow company procedures to track all incoming business, pending business, and mailed appraisals via the company database system- Work with fellow Project Manager on the management of all appraisers’ schedules; keeping calendar current and accurate - Develop and maintain relationships with independent consultant appraisers, providing guidelines for company appraisal policies and standards, as well as schedule coordination and oversight of consultant work and time/invoices on appraisal projects- Attend and co-lead weekly appraisal status report meetings- Ensure appraisals follow Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) guidelines- Archive finalized electronic company records and appraisal bound copies- Create and maintain all appraisal archives including format and storage of client contact, provenance and comparables- Train all administrative and processing personnel in proprietary production system Qualifications and Skills: - 2-3 years of administrative support and/or project management experience in an industry including but not limited to the following: art, finance, research, etc.- Copy-editing experience- Clear, comfortable and respectful communicator with high net worth clients- Able to organize and prioritize projects efficiently and effectively within a fast-paced environment- Ability to simultaneously manage projects with both long and short-term deadlines- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail- Self-starting mentality; calm and focused under tight deadlines- Creative and active problem solver – able to look beyond the status quo- Professional and positive demeanor- Proficient in databases, Adobe, and Microsoft Office suite- Knowledge of USPAP guidelines and/or USPAP certification (training will be provided) Conclusion: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed.
