The National Association of Women Artists, has great impact on the long-standing culture of women working together to raise the profile of American women in the visual arts. The Assistant will be aiding with the mission, absorbing and taking on task management of this nonprofit. The person in this role will report to the President and the Executive Director and maintain close working relationships, plus officers, Committee Chairs, and share in providing leadership & guidance to staff and numerous volunteers. The job will include carrying out the policies and instructions of the Executive Board along with the ED. This is a sisterhood of professional, art-loving people. Good lines of communication with the committees and chapters is important. Chapters are in Florida, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and South Carolina. Chapters each have their own boards of officers.
