The newly established foundation of a world-renowned artist is seeking a summer intern to assist its small, dedicated team with tasks related to archival and collections management. The position is based in Manhattan. Undergraduates, recent graduates, and early-career art world professionals with an interest in contemporary art and artists’ archives are encouraged to apply. The internship is fully in-person, two days/week (9am–5pm), for two to three months. Compensation is $17/hour. Responsibilities:Review and physically organize archival press materialsCreate spreadsheet bibliography of press materialsInventory, organize, and catalogue physical libraryAssist with additional projects on an as-needed basis Qualifications:BA (in process or received); degrees in art history, arts administration, museum studies, or library and information sciences preferredProficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office SuiteExceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detailUpbeat, positive demeanor with a no-task-too-small mentality
