Guild is looking for a dynamic sales support specialist to work with the SVP of trade sales in best supporting the varied needs of Guild and Guild Gallery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Owning product tagging in Guild/ Gallery; going through the showroom/Gallery daily to check products and ensure that all pieces are appropriately taggedEditing line sheets and other sales related PDFsMaking sure that packing supplies on showroom floor (bags, boxes, tissue etc.) are adequately stockedLiaising with Warehouse to ensure that we have adequate quantities of wood/metal/stone samples present on showroom floor, liaising with Production team to order replenishments well in advance if low on stockPartnering with senior sales team members to pull inventory for orders off the floor to mitigate overselling; check stock levels on floor/ fulfillment area on behalf of sales teamProvide coverage for the gallery front desk, greeting clients in a hospitable way with the intent of assessing buying potential; escalate serious walk-ins, phone calls etc. to Gallery Director (WH)Work with SVP of trade sales to formulate SOP on capturing qualified gallery leadsOversee gallery inventory and related content on web sales channels (Artsy, Artbinder, Guild Gallery website), including onboarding the artists and ensuring sold items are properly markedMaintain up-to-date and accurate artist presentation materials, including but not limited to line sheets, price lists, and individual PDFs.Ensure that the sales team has up-to-date and accurate artist presentation materials, including but not limited to- line sheets, price lists, and individual PDFs; red-dot any sold pieces; assemble packets with line sheets/artist packets, so that they are readily available for clientsOversee the gallery desk area to maintain an organized, clean and welcoming environment for clients and artists, bubble up any aesthetic concerns to Custodial department for swift resolutionAdd all dimensions and materials to each gallery/ community piece currently for sale in Shopify, and routinely check to ensure that this is up to date Use product knowledge and selling techniques to place Community/ Accessories with clients; escalate any gallery related inquiries to Gallery Director (WH) and any MTO (furniture/lighting) inquiries to SVP of trade sales Keep an up-to-date record (pipeline) of in progress sales; send this document along with reporting about activities and accomplishments weekly to SVP of trade salesAssist customers in a friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic manner Provide product feedback that will enhance product offering to clients Act as customer care when necessary, providing full and complete information in a timely manner to support the resolution of all client service issues REQUIREMENTS: • An enthusiastic team player, who’s eager to provide support• Computer proficiency with MS Office; Outlook, Excel, Word • Strong communication abilities - both verbal and written. • Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands, and competing priorities• Must be able to pack, unpack and move stock when supporting in receiving / stocking functions. • Attention to detail, superlative time management and problem-solving skills• Scheduling flexibility, and availability to work nights and weekends (a typical shift would be 12pm-9pm) • Ability to work throughout holiday season
