No prior experience is necessary to enjoy an ArtsClub event, just a desire to express yourself and engage with others through the creative process.With studios in New York City and Washington, DC, ArtsClub hosts hundreds of events each year, from public art workshops to private events for leading brands such as Chanel, Google, LinkedIn, The New York Times, Tinder, and The World Bank. We’ve also partnered with alumni and student groups from Yale, Harvard, Howard, Columbia, and NYU. On weekends, our studios offer recreational art classes open to the public.About the RoleWe’re looking for a highly organized and proactive team member to join the management team at ArtsClub. You\'ll work closely with our management team, freelance staff, and clients to ensure each event is thoughtfully executed and aligned with our mission.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & On-Site Management Develop detailed run-of-show documents, update internal calendars, and send logistics to instructors and clients in advance of each eventSchedule freelance instructors and coordinate cateringManage insurance documentation as neededHandle event-related client communicationsProvide on-site event management, including leading art history or studio art instructionCollaborate with studio managers in NY & DC to monitor inventory and prepare supplies for upcoming eventsMarketing, Social Media & Promotion Manage marketing, social media and promotional strategies with a results-oriented approach that increases public programming ticket salesMaintain up-to-date event listings on our website and third-party platformsManage instagram posts, ad campaigns, and influencer collaborationsSend email newslettersContribute to new marketing and promotional initiativesAdministrationCustomer Support: Respond to general inquiries via email, phone and social mediaFreelancer Coordination: Answer questions and process weekly payrollGeneral Operations: Manage studio deliveries, paperwork, and other administrative needs as they ariseSchedule & LocationFull-time (~40 hours/week), Tuesday–Saturday; Schedule switches to Monday-Friday (with Fridays being remote) Memorial Day - Labor DayIn person at our East Village studio (311 East 3rd Street)Evening availability required for event coverageQualifications2-5 years of experience in events or arts industriesResults oriented approach to work Degree in Art History or Fine ArtExperience in event planning and social media managementExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyExceedingly strong level of attention to detailClear and professional communication skills, both written and verbalA dedicated team player that is willing to take on any task, however big or smallPerksAmple paid time offOpportunities for growth and development within the companyComplimentary tickets to all public ArtsClub events A creative, inspiring, and supportive work environment
