Thomas Erben Gallery is looking for an intern to assist at the gallery for at least two days per week.Internship ResponsibilitiesInterns perform a range of tasks that demonstrate the many aspects of running a gallery, including:- administrative assignments- gallery maintenance- digital and physical archiving- research and outreach- general errandsKnowledge of Mac computers, Photoshop, Photography and Photo Retouching is a plus.The gallery aims to create a highly informative experience that is equally beneficial for both parties. As an intern with us, you will gain insight into the daily work of a gallery business, and the art market in general. You will experience the process of organizing and installing an art show, how to communicate with artists as well as clients, and how to handle art. ---About the Thomas Erben Gallery: The gallery programming is focused on contemporary art, in all media.
