2025 Fall/Winter InternshipsWe are excited to offer 6-month internships at our New York and Los Angeles galleries to highly motivated and committed individuals who are seeking to grow and expand on their experience in a contemporary art gallery setting. From September through February, 2 to 3 days a week, our interns will be immersed in the inner workings of Karma, contributing to a variety of projects while working alongside passionate art professionals.Our internship positions will focus on the following, while also supporting the day-to-day operations of the gallery:Conduct research for upcoming artist-related projects Assist with preparing and maintaining printed materials for artists’ archive, upcoming projects, and internal research documentsSupport Artist Liaisons with updates to artists’ CVs and bios, track upcoming exhibitions, publications, and eventsSupport Artist Liaisons in planning upcoming exhibitions, art fairs, and public programsPerform administrative duties as needed, including mailings, updating the gallery\'s contact database, organizing publications, and monitoring Google alertsWelcome and engage visitors with friendly and knowledgeable assistanceProvide support during openings, public programs, and talksAssist with diverse tasks, from handling and stocking office supplies to learning about how to prepare shipments and coordinate couriersContribute to special projects that arise throughout your internshipQualifications: Enthusiasm for modern and contemporary art and a desire to gain experience in a gallery setting Strong organizational, communication and problem solving Public-facing skills and collaborative spiritProficiency in Google Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop) is helpfulFlexibility for occasional evening and weekend eventsBonus: Familiarity with Karma\'s programming, artists, and exhibitionsFluency in another language, such as Mandarin or French, is a plus Willingness to perform light manual tasksWe know that there are great candidates that may not have all of the qualifications listed above but possess intuitive knowledge or other fully transferable skills.
