Edward Tyler Nahem Fine Art is seeking a part-time intern for Fall 2025. This internship will provide students and recent graduates with the opportunity to gain knowledge and insight into an established gallery. This person will have the opportunity to work closely with the gallery owner and staff on matters pertaining to day-to-day gallery operations. Along with that, they should be comfortable assisting the owner with various business and personal matters. We are seeking someone who possesses a calm, warm, composed demeanor and works well with others. Desirable candidates will have a positive, confident mindset and can multitask with a “can-do” attitude. Responsibilities include:Welcoming and interacting with visitors in the gallery, including answering telephonesAssisting gallery staff members with organizational and administrative dutiesMaintaining a thorough and clear understanding of artwork in the gallery to assist visitors with any questionsAssist with client database, updating and maintaining email list and contact recordsDaily gallery maintenance and upkeepExecute weekly social media plans in coordination with the Associate DirectorAssist the owner with personal matters, including errands and other various responsibilities. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required and specific knowledge of post-war and contemporary artistsExcellent computer literacy related to Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe SuiteMust be comfortable speaking on the phone and with daily visitors alikeKnowledge of or interest in art history and the art world
