The Programs and Marketing Manager plays a central role in implementing, supporting, and communicating all WORTHLESSSTUDIOS’ programs, through coordinating communications and helping execute a seamless delivery of core programs. The Programs and Marketing Manager reports to the Artistic Director and Director of Programming. This is a dynamic position placing you in an active and central role within the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPROGRAM EXECUTIONCoordinate logistics for major programs: WARP, 1-800 Happy Birthday, and Photographer in ResidencParticipate in planning and production of in-person programming eventsManage outreach and selection process for open callsLiaise with artists, partners, and contractors to ensure smooth program deliveryTrack program metrics and contribute to board and grant reportingMARKETING CONTENT AND EXECUTIONCoordinate and oversee WS communications, including writing, producing, and sending newsletters, social media posts, and maintaining the websiteCapture content and/or manage photographers and videographersEnsure that content resonates with our audiencesTrack social media and newsletter metricsEVENT PLANNING, COLLABORATION & REPORTINGWork with Development Team to support donor events and excursions (transportation, catering, RSVPs)Schedule and coordinate visits and program-related travelTrack timelines and communicates proactively across teamsADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORTManage calendar, scheduling, and correspondencePrepare meeting materials and talking points for internal and external meetingsProvide hands-on support during major events or programs as neededQUALIFICATIONS2-3 years of experience in arts programming, logistics, or project managementExperience supporting, designing, and/or implementing digital content for an organizationKnowledge of the digital platforms and experience using email marketing software Previous experience with museums, galleries or community centers Previous experience with events and event staffingAdministrative experienceFriendly, mature demeanorResponsible, timelyDeadline-driven: ability to multi-task and work well independently with changing priorities as required in start-up environmentAbility to work occasional evenings and weekends if needed for eventsSkilled at databases and spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel)Experience with Notion, Slack, and Adobe Suite is a plus1-2 years of photography experience preferred but not requiredEMPLOYMENT DETAILSThe Programs and Marketing Manager is a full-time, exempt position. Some evening and weekend work may be required. Salary range is $55,000 – $75,000, based on experience.
