Key ResponsibilitiesProgram & Project ManagementCoordinate assigned projects, including timelines, budgets, contracts, and deliverablesSupport event planning and execution, including agendas, run-of-show, and vendor coordinationTrack project progress and ensure alignment across stakeholdersAssist in developing and implementing evaluation metrics and impact trackingPartnership & Stakeholder EngagementBuild and maintain relationships with community-based organizations, design professionals, public agencies, and fundersEnsure partners are informed, aligned, and engaged throughout project lifecyclesSupport outreach and communications for programs and eventsProgram Support & OperationsProvide administrative support to program staffContribute across Van Alen programs, including fellowships, exhibitions, competitions, and community eventsSupport internal systems and workflows to improve program efficiencyProgram CoordinatorQualificationsBachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience2–3 years of experience coordinating or participating in community-led programs or projects (design, architecture, urbanism, or related fields preferred)Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including community members, municipalities, and multidisciplinary teamsStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in iterative environmentsCommitment to social equity and inclusive designTechnical SkillsProficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
