With locations in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, The Future Perfect has built a reputation for its curated, thought-provoking exhibitions and collaborations with international artists and designers.About the Role -The Logistics Coordinator oversees East Coast logistics in support of client order fulfillment, gallery programming, and inventory management. This role manages the movement, documentation, and stewardship of fine art, furniture, and collectible design across sales, exhibitions, loans, inter-gallery transfers, and special projects.The ideal candidate is highly organized, clear-communicating, and solutions-oriented — comfortable managing a high volume of complex, time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.📍 Hybrid — twice weekly at our Brooklyn warehouse, with occasional presence at the Manhattan office and offsite locations. Occasional travel may be required.RESPONSIBILITIESLead East Coast shipping and logistics operations across all departmentsCoordinate domestic and international shipments, including trucking, white glove delivery, customs, and import/export documentationManage inventory intake, condition reporting, tracking, and stewardship in coordination with purchasing, exhibition, and warehouse teamsPrepare and maintain all shipping and logistics documentation: labels, certificates of insurance, packing slips, manifests, and customs paperworkLiaise with clients, shippers, art handlers, warehouses, insurance providers, and storage vendors; communicate proactively about schedules, status, and any disruptionsSolicit, evaluate, and negotiate shipping quotes balancing cost, transit time, service level, and object requirementsReconcile logistics invoices, monitor freight expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunitiesCoordinate exhibition logistics, loans, inter-gallery transfers, installations, and special projectsTrack KPIs and report regularly on shipping and delivery performancePartner with Sales, Purchasing, and Client Services on availability, timelines, and seamless client experienceIdentify and implement improvements to logistics processes, documentation standards, and vendor performanceQUALIFICATIONS3+ years in logistics, registrar, gallery, museum, or related operationsExperience shipping fine art, furniture, and 3D/collectible objectsStrong knowledge of East Coast fine art/furniture shippers and national logistics vendorsExperience managing international shipments and export documentationStrong understanding of packing, handling, storage, and warehouse best practicesProficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, inventory systems, and logistics software; Salesforce or Artlogic experience preferredExcellent organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
