Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the Arts and Letters curatorial department. This position offers hands-on experience in arts administration, digital communications, and financial record keeping within a dynamic non-profit cultural institution. ResponsibilitiesEnters departmental Amex expenses and codes into departmental budget and shared accounting spreadsheetsAssists with bookstore operations, including ordering and restocking books, entering information into Shopify, and relaying sales tax information to accountingEnters artists’ mailing lists and assists with maintaining public mailing lists and generating MailchimpUpdates exhibition and program listings (NMAA, See Saw, etc.)Formats and sends materials for Contemporary Art Library for each exhibition seasonSocial media administration, supporting the department\'s digital presenceGenerates invoices for Centennial Portfolio print salesOther administrative tasks as needed QualificationsThe ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented, and comfortable managing recurring administrative tasks independently. Enthusiasm for contemporary art is a plus. Familiarity with Shopify, Mailchimp, InDesign, and advanced Excel is a plus.
