Ryan McGinley Studios is seeking a highly motivated Studio Intern to join our team in our East Village studio. Working between commercial, fine art, and editorial projects, our studio is multi-pronged and requires both flexibility and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in the day-to-day operations of a professional artist’s studio.Responsibilities include:Assisting with inventory and archiving of prints, negatives, and digital filesSupporting studio management and organizationEditing and file preparation for ongoing projectsActing as an on-set assistant during photo shootsCapturing behind-the-scenes documentation and maintaining visual recordsRequirements:Must be currently enrolled in a college or university programStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsInterest in fine art, photography, and contemporary cultureProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Bridge, and Lightroom) a plusAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a creative environmentDetails:January - May, 2026Once a week, with opportunity for moreUnpaid internship; college credit available if applicableLunch providedLocated in the East Village, New York (No remote work available)
