The Wolf Kahn Foundation seeks an experienced part-time Registrar for a one-year term tomanage the safe and efficient transport of art objects on loan to multiple exhibitions, bothinternational and domestic.The Registrar must be familiar with managing temporary/traveling exhibitions, budgetpreparation and monitoring, insurance indemnity, courier duties, and shipping. Experience withinternational forwarding and customs required. Knowledge of ArtBase, Collection Access and/orArtiCheck preferred.• Coordinate and oversee the safe packing, transport and transfer of artworks to and fromthe Collection including shipping, security, insurance, storage and related details.• Assist in the preparation of budgets and planning for the crating and shipping of loans.• Complete condition reports on incoming and outgoing loans.• Generate and maintain all outgoing loan agreement paperwork and assist with other legalforms and documentation as needed.• Assist in the oversight of rights, reproductions and image licensing as it relates tocollections or exhibition needs.• Other duties related to the movement and inventory of the collections and miscellaneousduties as assigned, including exhibition support as needed.• Participate in activities that are aligned with the Foundation’s strategic priorities andassist in achieving overall departmental goals under the direction of the CollectionManager and in conjunction with Collections, Archives and Grants departments.Experience: Bachelor’s degree in art history, fine art, museum studies or equivalent, plusa minimum of five years progressively responsible experience as a registrar in acollection, gallery or museum environment.Compensation and Hours: This is a 20-hour a week, part-time, one-year term position with the possibility for extension paying $40-$50 an hour based on experience.The Wolf Kahn Foundation is an equal opportunity employer.Please submit a letter of interest and CV to Collection@WolfKahnFoundation.org by June 1, 2026.
