Commercial + Fine Art Photographer’s Studio currently seeking a Studio Assistant/Production Coordinator to join their team in New York. This position entails overall studio management assistance, shoot production and personal assistance for a high-profile photographer with a busy schedule. Preference to candidates with experience working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Ideal employee is resourceful, creative and quick thinking. Ability to work on high-profile, multifaceted projects in a dynamic atmosphere is preferred. Candidates should have an interest in fashion, art and culture. In this role you will provide overall support for the studio and photo productions. The best candidates are exceptional planners, detail oriented, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining composure and professionalism. Studio Assistant and Production Coordinator role includes but is not limited to: Supporting studio with day-to-day tasks such as creative research, coordinating shoot logistics, organizing travel, department organization, general production support in office and on set as needed, expense reports, booking appointments, creating invoices, booking staff, calendar management and other studio-related tasks.REQUIREMENTS: ● Bachelor\'s degree required● Must have at least 5+ years working as an assistant or coordinator in a professional office or as a personal assistant; art gallery or studio experience is highly regarded. Working with and for high-profile creatives is a plus.● Must be willing and able to work in fast-paced environment on complex projects● Available to work nights and weekends when schedule requires● Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to organize● Prior experience coordinating and booking travel for large groups of team members● Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills● Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Bridge, InDesign● Knowledge in Google Work Suite● Strong people person with the ability to work on multiple projects at any one timeSUCCESS IN THIS ROLE: People who work well in this role are highly motivated self-starters, goal oriented, hyper detail oriented, coachable, positive, adaptable; and possess an innate desire to contribute to team objectives.
