Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and expertise in quality control and inspection. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
- Develop detailed construction estimates and budgets to ensure project profitability.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to align project objectives.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and maintain quality standards.
- Perform quality inspections and quality control checks to verify workmanship and compliance with specifications.
- Oversee construction inspection processes to identify issues early and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Manage schedules, resources, and personnel effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Utilize project management tools to track progress, document issues, and communicate updates effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to project scope, changes, inspections, and approvals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, quality inspection, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with construction inspection procedures and quality control practices.
- Electrical experience is a plus for overseeing specialized aspects of projects involving electrical systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills for coordinating teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations applicable to construction sites.
