About the RoleSITU is a leading design and architectural fabrication company located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. We are currently seeking a part-time Marketing & Graphics Coordinator to join our team. This position will report to the Director of Administration and work alongside all departments of the company, with a focus in the Fabrication division. This role will be responsible for managing SITU’s marketing efforts across multiple platforms with a focus on social media, newsletters, and the SITU website. This position is anticipated to require 20-25 hours per week on average.Roles & Responsibilities IncludeManage SITU’s social media accounts, regularly posting relevant content across multiple platformsCoordinate development of newsletters in MailchimpUpdate and maintain content on SITU’s website, including news items and project pagesAssemble necessary materials for proposal and RFP submissionsDocument projects and events for marketing and business development purposes, including the processing and editing of photos and curation of images to align with brand standards Help coordinate with external clients and collaborators for documentation and publication of projectsSupport overarching marketing and business development strategies through collaborative and creative thinking, identifying opportunities for branded collateral to further communications goals QualificationsBachelor’s or Associate’s degree in architecture, graphic design or a related design field, with interests and a proclivity toward graphic design & layouts1-3 years work experienceProficiency with, or aptitude to achieve on-the-job proficiency with, the following general software and applications:Google Workspace, Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, and other Google AppsMS Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel)Adobe Creative Cloud Suite Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTokMailchimpExperience with CRM software a plusProven skills in graphic layout, photo curation and editingProfessional and clear verbal & written communicationHighly organized & detail orientedAbility to manage priorities and workflowVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmProven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlinesThe position requires the following physical abilities:Occasional light work (lifting and maneuvering up to 20 pounds) requiredAbility to work in a fabrication shop environment
