The role will support the management and growth of new and existing client relationships around the world in driving measurable results.Role and responsibilitiesWorking with a small team across several client accounts to support the planning, preparation and implementation of strategic communications and media relations assignments, digital campaigns, events and content production, roles and responsibilities include: Media RelationsResearch, develop and execute impactful media outreach plans Draft and edit press releases, pitches, briefing and other media materialsSecure high-impact media coverage through storytelling and pitchingHandle media requests promptly and efficientlyBuild and maintain relationships with writers, editors, and influencersSupport account management: prepare meeting agendas and recaps, create proposals, case studies, and reports, organize, caption and file images and visual assets, and manage media, client and event lists precisely.Social and Digital Media Social and digital media campaign planning and implementation, including content production, scheduling and posting Events and programmingSupport in the planning of client events and programming including copywriting and design of event materials, and guest, client and partner liaison. The role also involves monitoring industry narratives in art, design, architecture, fashion, and luxury to identify opportunities for clients, new strategic partnerships, and contribute to agency strategy.RequirementsCollege graduate and/or Masters student specializing in communications, public relations, business management, marketing or art history.Must have at least 3 years prior experience in a public relations/communications agency, journalism or the communications/press department of a visual arts or cultural business, brand or organization. Must have experience with the arts and cultural media and fluency in social media with existing relationships in a relevant and current network of arts/cultural writers and reporters, and social media influencers.Applicants must possess outstanding writing, editing, and verbal communications skills with experience writing press releases and materials, writing and pitching clear and compelling stories to media to secure impactful media coverage, and producing, editing and managing the scheduling and posting of social media content.Applicants should possess a rigorous day to day work routine, the ability to multitask, prioritize workflow and meet deadlines, have a meticulous eye for detail with the ability to follow instructions and organize accurately. Applicants should feel comfortable working remotely with a small, active team, collaborating graciously with colleagues and clients around the world in different time zones, but also to work well independently. Acting as a representative and ambassador to Lyn Winter, Inc., applicants must be discreet and poised with excellent presentation and social skills, be able to take initiative to find creative solutions, and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.Fluency with Mac platforms, Microsoft Office, G-Suite, MailChimp, Muck Rack, Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign, and Wordpress and basic HTML are essential.Foreign language fluency is a plus.Hours and locationThis is a hybrid position. Hours will be Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm.The applicant must be based in Los Angeles.The applicant will work remotely, though will be required to be available to attend regular in-person meetings and events and to travel as needed on client assignments.
