AboutPace Prints was founded in 1968 to provide leading contemporary artists with resources and facilities for creating and exhibiting fine-art limited-edition prints and multiples.Director of Communications and MarketingPace Prints is looking for a Director of Communications and Marketing to lead the promotion of all Pace Prints’ programming.Working closely with internal production teams, including the print shop and paper studio, as well as gallery staff and artists, this role creates educational and engaging campaigns that communicate the business’s key messaging across all channels and platforms. This position manages and works closely with the Media and Design Associate to bring these campaigns to life consistently and cohesively.Content and Web• Manage the creation of text, image, and video materials for campaigns promoting Pace Prints’ exhibitions, art fair presentations, special projects, and edition releases. Key channels include website, email communications, and all social media channels.• Organize and maintain a master content calendar; ensuring that timing across all respective internal production and sales calendars are strategically integrated.• Manage and monitor Pace Prints’ social media channels, ensuring an engaging, consistent and cohesive presentation geared towards audience growth.• Manage the website CMS system and ensure content on the website is up to date.• Shape and advance Pace Prints’ brand narrative across all communications channels by developing compelling stories that highlight artists, exhibitions, editions, and studio practices, translating complex artistic processes into engaging content for diverse audiences.• Lead the ongoing evolution of Pace Prints’ digital presence, including website strategy, content architecture, and social media growth initiatives; identify opportunities to expand audience reach, strengthen engagement, and enhance the user experience across all digital platforms. Manage website redesign and development projects.Press and Communications:• Lead press strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external public relations agency, identifying key messages and tentpole moments for the business throughout the year.• Write press releases and manage the compilation and distribution of press-relatedmaterials.• Monitor press coverage, inquiries, and artist-related news for our archive.Sales Support:• Manage the creation of sales-related marketing materials in collaboration with gallery staff.• Work with external freelance photographers to document projects and exhibitions throughout the year.• Guide in-gallery signage and graphics for exhibitions.E-Commerce:• Manage the presentation of online releases and other e-commerce related projects.Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in art, design, or related field• At least 2 years of management or director experience• 5+ years of experience with project management• Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals, layout, typography, and brand systems• Strong creative production skills, including the ability to shoot, edit, and optimize content for each platform• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects)• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage the updating of archives and inventories• Collaborative mindset with eagerness to learn, iterate, and growScheduleMonday to Friday 9:30am – 5:30pmIn-person working from the 18th Street location
