Grant-funded, temporary professional position in the Nursing Department. The Nursing Curriculum Development Professional will lead curriculum design, mapping, and alignment activities that support the development of a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program, strengthen LPN-to-RN academic progression, and promote vertical integration of competencies across CNA, LPN, and RN programs.
This position may be based on the Jamestown or Cattaraugus County Campus and may include hybrid or remote work as approved.
Required:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or closely related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in nursing education, curriculum development, or academic program design.
- Demonstrated experience with curriculum mapping, competency-based education, and assessment development.
- Strong written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred:- Doctoral degree in Nursing or Nursing Education.
- Experience with NYSED program approval processes and/or nursing accreditation standards.
- Experience developing bridge or transition programs (e.g., CNA-to-LPN, LPN-to-RN).
- Experience designing or implementing simulation-based learning.
- Evidence of collaboration, initiative, or leadership in academic or clinical settings.
