JCC anticipates potential part-time openings for adjunct instruction of Spanish for Specific Purposes, specifically Healthcare for upcoming semesters (fall, spring, summer) on the All campuses Campus(es). Class times and course coverage needs will vary from semester to semester. Clearly state campus(es) of interest on application materials. This is a pool posting and applications are accepted on an on-going basis. Applicants will be contacted on an as-needed basis.
Required: Master’s degree in Spanish or Education, teaching experience, OPI rating of Advanced Low or higher within the past five years
Preferred: Experience in the healthcare field, experience teaching Spanish for specific purposes, higher education teaching experience, and/or travel in a Spanish-speaking country
Pay is determined by a set salary matrix coinciding with the highest level of education obtained and the greater of either directly related experience or number of credit hours of teaching experience accumulated. Range is $860-$1153 per credit hour.
