JCC anticipates potential part-time openings for Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) instructors for upcoming semesters (fall, spring, summer) on the Jamestown Campus. Class times and course coverage needs will vary from semester to semester.

Applicants will be contacted on an as needed basis.This multi-purpose instructional position requires fluency in PLC programming, industrial automation, motor controls, electrical systems, sensors, robotics integration, and system troubleshooting. The instructor will deliver hands-on training in PLC fundamentals and advanced programming, HMI, industrial networking, electrical safety, industrial math, blueprint reading, digital electronics, instrumentation, and automated systems troubleshooting.
Requires extensive hands-on industrial maintenance, automation, or controls engineering experience. Responsibilities include curriculum development, instructional design, industry collaboration, and delivery of high-quality workforce training aligned with employer needs.Associate’s degree or equivalent experience or 5+ years PLC/automation experience. Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Omron PLCs.
