Jamestown Community College’s Workforce Development Department is seeking a qualified
Supervisory & Leadership Training Provider to design and deliver contract-based leadership and supervisory training for local employers, incumbent workers, and community partners.
This role supports the college’s mission to strengthen the regional workforce by developing effective supervisors and frontline leaders, with a focus on the unique needs and opportunities of area workplaces. The selected provider will deliver practical, skills-based training aligned with employer needs, industry standards, and workforce development priorities.
Required: Demonstrated experience delivering supervisory or leadership training across manufacturing, education, healthcare, government, or nonprofit sectors. Strong facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of adult learning theory and applied leadership development practices. Ability to work independently under contract and meet established deliverables and timelines. Experience working with diverse populations, including rural communities, small businesses, or resource-limited environments.Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher in leadership, education, organizational development, human resources, business, or a related field. Experience delivering training through community colleges, workforce development programs or consulting practices. Familiarity with incumbent worker training, sector partnerships, or customized employer training initiatives. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., leadership coaching, training and development, human resources, organizational effectiveness). Experience adapting content across industries and varying learner levels
