The Department of Kinesiology, Sport Studies and Physical Education (KSSPE) at SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for a temporary 10-month lecturer position.
Essential Functions:Teaching (70%)
- Teaches 4/4 course load in both Fall and Spring semesters.
- Provides academic advisement for ~40 undergraduate students in the KSSPE Department .
Service (30%)
- Provides a significant service contribution to the KSSPE Department.
- Attends and participates in faculty meetings.
- Serves on one department-level committee per academic year.
Minimum Qualifications:- Master’s degree in kinesiology, sport studies, physical education, or a related discipline by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university
Preferred Qualifications:- Doctorate in kinesiology, sport studies, physical education, or a related discipline
- Significant teaching experience
