Print Center New York is seeking an Associate Director of Development to help lead and grow a comprehensive fundraising program that supports the organization’s exhibitions, publications, artist development, and public programs. This senior role will work closely with the Executive Director to secure and expand individual, corporate, and institutional support, ensuring the long-term sustainability and impact of the Center’s mission.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Fundraising LeadershipImplement a multi-year development strategy aligned with Print Center’s artistic vision and growth goals to support an approximately $2 million annual budgetWork with the Executive Director to set and meet annual revenue targets across contributed income streams, including major gifts, foundation grants, government funding, corporate sponsorships, and special events, including an annual benefitIdentify new funding opportunities and diversify revenue sourcesMajor Gifts & Donor EngagementWork closely with the Executive Director to cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of major donors and prospects Help the organization build meaningful, long-term relationships with collectors, patrons, and arts supportersPartner with the Executive Director and Board to expand their networks and deepen donor engagementWork with the Executive Director to develop and oversee moves management strategiesInstitutional GivingOversee foundation and government grant strategy, including prospect research, proposal development, and reporting with the support of a grant writerMaintain strong relationships with program officers and funding institutionsCollaborate with program staff to align funding proposals with organizational prioritiesEvents & CampaignsWork with the Executive Director to plan and execute fundraising and cultivation events, including benefit auctions, exhibition-related events, and donor gatheringsOversee year-end giving as well as special campaigns, including capital, cash reserve, and other initiatives as neededOperations & Team LeadershipManage development operations, including CRM systems, donor communications, and reporting with the support of a general assistantSupervise development staff and consultants, and collaborate with an accounting firmEnsure accurate and timely tracking of gifts, pledges, and donor dataQualifications6–8 years of progressive development experience in the nonprofit arts fieldDemonstrated success in helping to secure major gifts and corporate sponsorshipsStrong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling cases for supportExperience working with boards and senior leadership on fundraising strategyKnowledge of the contemporary art and/or printmaking ecosystem is strongly preferredHighly organized, strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to work occasional weekday evening and Saturday eventsAbout Print Center New York Print Center New York is a leading nonprofit arts organization dedicated to printmaking and contemporary art.
