A resourceful individual who will play a key role in representing and expanding the Morrison Hotel Gallery brand. With the focus on supporting our artists, and ensuring a world-class gallery experience for clients and visitors. This position reports to the Gallery Director of our Sunset Marquis location.Sales & Revenue GrowthActively drive sales of artworks through client cultivation, strategic outreach, and personalized engagement.Expand the gallery’s client base by developing and maintaining strong relationships with collectors, art buyers, and institutions.Set and achieve sales targets, contributing to the gallery’s overall revenue growth.Leverage partnerships to implement relevant events and exhibitions to maximize selling opportunities.Exhibitions & EventsAssist in planning, curating, and executing gallery shows and special events.Oversee installation, lighting, and presentation to ensure exhibitions meet Morrison Hotel Gallery’s professional standards.Represent the gallery at art fairs, exhibitions, and off-site events, including travel as needed.Artist & Client RelationsSupport represented photographers and estates by managing artwork availability, inventory, and each archive as a body of work.Provide collectors with in-depth knowledge on artworks, provenance, and editioning.Serve as a trusted advisor for clients, guiding them through their acquisition processes.Gallery OperationsOversee daily gallery operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and upkeep of the exhibition space.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies for upcoming shows and featured works.Ensure all sales, consignments, and client transactions are accurately tracked and reported.QualificationsProven experience working in a gallery, museum, or fine art sales environment.Must be a self-starter who is proactive & motivated (since this is partially remote and sales happen on days off too)Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.Strong knowledge of contemporary and/or photography-based art markets preferred.Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple partnerships and exhibitions simultaneously.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both clients and partners.Detail-oriented with a keen eye for presentation and aesthetics.Proficiency in Shopify, Monday.com, CRM systems, and Microsoft/Google Suite.
