Ateliers Courbet is seeking a seasoned Manager of Operations with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. This full-time position is essential to the gallery\'s day-to-day operations, overall efficiency, and long-term success.The ideal candidate is meticulous and highly organized, as the role encompasses oversight of all operational workflows, including inventory management and administration, shipping and logistics, and the planning and supervision of the gallery\'s exhibitions, events, and fair installations. The Manager will also manage the gallery\'s relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and maintain the gallery\'s inventory registry, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of all works across locations. Implement inventory receiving protocols, including thorough and immediate inspection upon delivery, and manage insurance claim filings when necessary.Ensure detailed upkeep of inventory data in the gallery\'s systems, monitor storage conditions across locations, and ensure proper handling and care of all objects at all times.Anticipate, schedule, and supervise all shipments; negotiate rates; and oversee the administration and filing of all import/export documentation.Coordinate all inventory deliveries to and from the gallery or directly from vendors to clients.Schedule and manage the installation of exhibitions, fair booths, and the ongoing inventory rotation across gallery locations.Liaise with logistics and administrative teams to ensure accuracy and compliance in all import/export and customs documentation.Thoroughly file, archive, and organize shipping and customs documentation, and supervise the filing, upkeep, and recording of all temporary exports with relevant partners.Plan and execute all aspects of the gallery\'s exhibitions and fair participations, from inventory shipment scheduling to third-party hiring, on-site installation and deinstallation.Manage the gallery\'s general back-office operations.Track and report inventory movements and transactional activity, ensuring the administrative team maintains and communicates accurate records of any consigned inventory to vendors.Candidate Profile:Candidate must be rigorous and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational and communication skills. The ability to handle multiple or shifting priorities with efficiency, focus, and a positive attitude is essential.
