Project Manager/Sr. Project Manager – Solar PV Systems Commercial Division
Manage Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from initial approval through completion
Assist BD group in project development. Subcontractor pricing, material takeoffs, etc.
Safe performance of work is the highest priority. Maintain project site safety for internal and subcontract personnel.
Primary customer interface onsite. Day to day exchanges with customer to plan, communicate schedules, and coordinate site access.
Site Manage subcontractors on all facets of their work and personnel, including installation quality.
Maintain all project quality assurance documents in accordance with company policy.
Manage installation schedule and project site logistics.
Build and maintain good relationships with inspectors, engineers, subcontractors, and client representative connected with the project.
Participate and lead project coordination meetings.
Conduct field audits and related analysis and results and performance assurance of installed system.
Desired Skills and Experience
Education/Certification Required:
Practical Experience - 5+ years (commercial PV experience)
Journeyman/Master Electrician cardholder preferred
Able to become OSHA 30 Certified and ISN Certified. Possess the drive to continue to improve.
Experience Required:
This role requires the ability to demonstrate experience and independent responsibility with high
confidence in construction management field with a background in solar PV construction.
Preferably 5+ years’ experience managing Commercial PV project installation.

Ability to travel greater than 75% to project sites. Normal work schedule is Mon-Thurs/Fri depending on project requirements. Special project circumstances may require additional working hours on weekends; however, this is typically scheduled in advance.
Able to thoroughly understand and follow plans and specifications in the construction of a project. Strong understanding of PV, electrical, and control systems. Must understand mechanical and civil drawings.
Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, scope of work documents, and schematics .
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Word and Excel.
Strong basic math skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
