Hours per week: 36, Monday – Friday, normal working hours

Basic DBS required for this roleWhat's involved with this role:
To act as a workstream leader in the Transformation project underway, contributing to change required and implementing it.
The delivery of the Responsive Repairs service to residents throughout Lewisham, and to have direct management responsibility for our In-House Contractor team and supervision of third-party delivery partners.
Skills & Experience required:
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory standards in the provision of a maintenance service and how to this can impact on service delivery
- Understanding of local government decision making and governance and experience of working with elected members and boards
- Knowledge of a range of different types of pricing and costing systems used in housing repairs and contracting including maintenance schedules of rates, target and guaranteed maximum prices, open book costing, DRS (opti time) or similar resource scheduling and contractor management software.
- A minimum of 3 years experience with the delivery of a Repairs and Maintenance service and project works.
- Management experience including people, budget performance and risk management.
- Experience of dealing with complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
- To meet KPI performance targets and customer satisfaction targets for the service area.
- Ensure a 24/7/365 service is effectively discharged including the necessary back up emergency support that may be needed to staff outside normal working hours.
- To maintain records of workloads and expenditure on contracts. To provide any management information required and ensure that all the targets and performance standards relevant to the team and the requirements of the post are met, ensuring that work is carried out to specifications, within budget and on time.
- To manage Work Supervisors and Team Leaders to ensure that all aspects of responsive repairs are delivered to specifications to budget and on time.
- To carry out detailed risk assessments and reviews in line with current regulations.
- To undertake technical surveys on properties and equipment.
