Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager to lead our supply chain operations. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and production planning. Your goal is to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure seamless coordination across all supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about process improvement and data-driven decision-making, with a strong background in supply chain analytics and ERP systems.
Duties
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals, focusing on process improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
- Manage procurement activities by coordinating with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely purchasing of materials using systems like SAP and Oracle EBS.
- Oversee inventory control and demand planning to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste through techniques such as Kaizen and Six Sigma.
- Lead logistics operations to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of goods across multiple regions.
- Utilize tools like Tableau, Power BI, and SQL for supply chain analytics to identify bottlenecks, root causes of issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to streamline production planning using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and ERP platforms.
- Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies and implement corrective actions based on lean methodologies such as Kaizen.
- Drive process improvement initiatives by applying Six Sigma methodologies to enhance overall supply chain performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management, procurement efficiency, logistics performance, and demand accuracy.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting Lean practices and engaging teams in process optimization activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics roles within manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with supply chain analytics tools including Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and other data visualization software.
- Knowledge of inventory management techniques, procurement processes, demand planning, and production scheduling.
- Certification or training in Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, or process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and coordinate with external partners.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets for continuous improvement opportunities using ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools.
