We\'ve expanded! NYC’s premier digital fine art printing & framing company is seeking a full-time shipping and receiving production assistant to join our growing team! In search of a highly motivated, self-driven individual to assist with production and offer support across all departments with primary focus on packaging. Must have some working experience in fine art printing or picture framing, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.The ideal candidate is a multitask-er with an eye for detail, and the ability to move fluidly between roles in support of all aspects of day-to-day production. Primary duties will be to trim, package and prepare frames and fine art prints for ground shipping, pick up and local courier. Additional duties will include assisting the production team with framing fitting, frame fabrication, canvas stretching, receiving deliveries, cleaning and other general production duties. Will work directly with the framing and packaging departments as well as lend assistance to the studio manager as needed. Background in the arts and familiarity with fine-art materials and handling is preferred. Must be comfortable with industrial power tools and able to comfortably lift 50+ lbs.
