MMC Group is hiring for a Product Manager, to support AdTech Digital products, for our client in the Media & Marketing industry!
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in digital advertising technology (AdTech) to lead the strategic direction, planning, and development of our digital product offerings.
In this role, you’ll operate as an individual contributor within a cross-functional, matrixed organization, collaborating with engineering, sales, marketing, and external partners to shape and execute the digital roadmap. You’ll combine technical AdTech expertise with business acumen to enhance our product portfolio, ensure market relevance, and drive measurable financial results.
Key Responsibilities:
Product & Financial Strategy
- Develop and manage plans to achieve annual product revenue and margin goals.
- Maintain full visibility into product financials, analyzing costs, performance, and profitability.
- Evaluate new technologies to enhance product capabilities while supporting business objectives.
- Monitor KPIs to assess product performance, identify trends, and recommend adjustments.
- Present financial insights and performance reports, explaining deviations from forecasts.
Market Intelligence & Research
- Gather and analyze digital advertising market data to identify customer challenges and emerging needs.
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to validate product direction and uncover new opportunities.
- Define key buyer personas and decision-makers for digital AdTech solutions.
- Develop detailed market requirement documents (MRDs) to guide future product enhancements and digital initiatives.
- Benchmark against competitors and identify differentiation opportunities in product design and feature sets.
Customer & Sales Enablement
- Participate in client meetings and sales discussions to understand how digital capabilities impact purchase decisions.
- Analyze lost opportunities to pinpoint product gaps or sales challenges related to digital features.
- Partner with go-to-market teams to refine positioning and value propositions for AdTech offerings.
Product Development & Roadmapping
- Translate market needs into actionable product requirements and user stories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to prioritize digital feature development.
- Build financial and strategic business cases to support investment in new digital solutions or partnerships.
- Determine optimal approaches (build, buy, or partner) for delivering digital capabilities to market.
- Work closely with marketing and sales to develop internal positioning documents and external messaging.
- Deliver sales training and product education to ensure effective market adoption of digital features.
Customer & Partner Engagement
- Support launch activities to ensure smooth integration of digital capabilities into customer environments.
- Manage relationships with strategic partners and AdTech vendors to align technology roadmaps.
- Capture post-launch feedback to inform future product updates and customer success initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing digital or AdTech products within a high-tech or media technology environment; 4+ years of experience
- Deep understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, including ad serving, ad insertion, and programmatic technologies.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Google Ad Manager (GAM), FreeWheel, or comparable AdTech solutions.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience conducting competitive analysis, market research, and pricing strategy.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence across multiple business functions.
- Skilled at communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
This is a long-term (1+ years, and on-going agreement) contract. Pay can be up to $115/hr depending on experience.
It will be fully remote, with travel requirements, for any U.S. Citizen who resides in the United States and is willing and able to work CST & EST hours.
