M+B is seeking a Part-Time Sales Director to join our team during an active exhibition season. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards. This role requires precise organization, an exacting eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced gallery environment.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Cultivate and develop client relationships to drive sales and engagement- Serve as liaison between the gallery and its represented artists- Maintain a thorough understanding of each artist’s practice, biography, and current body of work- Manage and strengthen relationships with collectors, curators, press, and museum professionals- Oversee sales follow-up, invoicing coordination, and inventory tracking in collaboration with the operations team- Represent the gallery at openings and select eventsQualifications:- Minimum 3 years of experience in contemporary art sales, artist management, or related field- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Proficiency in database and CRM systems (Artlogic experience preferred)- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion- A proactive, resourceful approach and enthusiasm for collaborationThis is a part-time, temporary position based in West Hollywood, ideal for an experienced sales professional. The position will run end of November/early December through April 2026.
