This position is designed to complement, not replace, other artistic or part-time pursuits.About the Position:The ideal candidate will be punctual, detail-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of various materials and fabrication processes. Reliability, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.Key Responsibilities: Assist in the fabrication of artworks across a range of materials. Manage and maintain inventory of art supplies, ensuring materials are readily accessible. Support research into new materials and fabrication techniques. Ensure the studio space and tools are kept clean and properly maintained at the conclusion of each workday. Assist with light cleaning duties and the setup for studio visits. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Additional Responsibilities: Provide occasional assistance with art handling, including the movement of works in progress. Undertake occasional pick-up and delivery of materials and artworks. Qualifications: Comprehensive knowledge of diverse art materials and their applications. Preferred proficiency in ceramics, sewing, printmaking, painting, mold making, and other mixed media. Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough and efficient research. Proficiency in Adobe Suite is a significant advantage. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to perform effectively under deadlines. Familiarity with and experience in contemporary art practices. Capacity to multitask and manage workload efficiently in a busy environment. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Proactive and self-motivated. Must be a resident of Los Angeles, possess a valid driver\'s license, have a reliable vehicle, and maintain current auto insurance. Responsible and organized with a positive attitude is a must.
