Overview
FOCUSPOINT is actively recruiting a seasoned Pharmacy Operations Manager on behalf of a premier hospital client in Texas. This is a high-impact leadership role designed for a clinical pharmacy expert ready to shape and elevate inpatient pharmacy programs. The selected candidate will drive strategic initiatives across formulary management, clinical education, and interdisciplinary collaboration—while serving as a key operational leader.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of clinical pharmacy programs aligned with hospital goals
- Oversee formulary optimization, drug utilization reviews, and provider education
- Serve as a clinical resource and liaison across departments and specialties
- Step in as acting Pharmacy Director when needed, ensuring seamless operations
- Participate in hospital committees and cross-functional initiatives
- Monitor complex drug therapies and provide expert clinical guidance
- Champion initiatives in nutrition, anticoagulation, renal dosing, and more
- Drive pharmacy quality metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Mentor pharmacists and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence
- Ensure full compliance with safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institution (Doctorate preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience, including 1+ year in clinical/operations leadership
- Proven track record in formulary management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and pharmacy program design
- PGY2 residency or BCPS certification strongly preferred
- Active pharmacist license in good standing
- Proficiency in Meditech, Microsoft Office Suite, and vendor/purchasing systems
