Duties
- Manage the end-to-end billing cycle, including invoice creation, review, and distribution to clients or internal departments
- Oversee the reconciliation of billing discrepancies and resolve issues promptly to maintain accuracy
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication and process alignment
- Implement and improve billing procedures and controls to maximize efficiency and reduce errors
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments proactively
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all billing activities
- Prepare detailed reports on billing activities, trends, and outstanding balances for senior management review
- Lead and mentor the billing team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in billing management or a similar financial operations role with a strong understanding of invoicing processes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail coupled with analytical thinking to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently
- Proficiency in billing software systems, ERP platforms, or accounting tools; familiarity with automation tools is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with clients
- Knowledge of industry regulations related to billing practices and data privacy standards
- Ability to lead a team confidently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism
