As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and enhancing customer experiences within our financial environment. You will support the Sales Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading a dynamic team, and ensuring that our store meets its sales objectives. What you’ll do
- Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers
- Lead, train, and motivate team members to excel in their roles and achieve sales targets
- Oversee inventory management processes, including stock replenishment and merchandising strategies
- Engage with customers to provide outstanding service, resolve issues, and promote products effectively
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager on budgeting, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
- Conduct interviews and participate in recruiting efforts to build a strong sales team
- Monitor sales performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling, payroll, and administrative tasks
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager
- Strong communication skills with a knack for customer service excellence
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with inventory control and retail math principles
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions
