Part-Time Program ManagerOpen Stage ProjectNew York, NY | Part-Time | Approximately 20 hours/week | $30/hour | HybridPosition OverviewOpen Stage Project is seeking a Part-Time Program Manager to coordinate the day-to-day delivery of our student programs. The Program Manager will work closely with the Executive Director, students and families, NYC public schools, teaching artists, mentors, industry professionals, volunteers, and organizational partners.This is a hands-on position for an organized, proactive person who enjoys working with high school students and is excited about creating meaningful opportunities for young people to explore careers in theater, television, and film.ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day operations of ACT 2 and, beginning in spring 2027, support the coordination of ACT 3, including schedules, calendars, communications, and program logistics.Coordinate and facilitate student programming, including monthly Monday after-school classes, three field trips per year, monthly teaching artists and guest programming, two Broadway shows per year, and the ACT 2 Capstone in May 2027, including related scheduling, supplies, materials, snacks, and transportation logistics.Support students throughout the program, including applications, interviews, attendance, participation, monthly feedback, and ongoing communication with students and families.Coordinate program-related administrative and financial tasks, including tracking expenses, maintaining records, and coordinating with the bookkeeper.Maintain program documentation and support evaluation and reporting, including attendance, student outcomes, surveys, and funder reporting.Proactively identify opportunities and challenges and communicate solutions to the Executive Director.Collaborate with the Executive Director and Events & Media Associate on program communications, event support, and emerging program needs.QualificationsExperience in youth programs, arts education, technical theater, or a related field.Experience coordinating programs, events, or projects from planning through execution.Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.Experience working with high school students.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail and follow-through.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team.Enthusiasm for working with young people and creating opportunities for students to explore careers in theater, television, and film.Schedule & CompensationApproximately 20 hours per week$30/hourMonthly Monday after-school programming in Midtown ManhattanOccasional school holiday programmingOccasional evenings and weekends for program eventsRemaining hours are flexible and may be worked remotely or in person depending on program needsACT 3 will launch in spring 2027; the initial focus of the position will be on ACT 2 and current program priorities.
