Job Title: Arts & Events Marketing Manager, L\'Alliance New YorkSalary: $26-$36/hourStart Date: September 1, 2026End Date: February 28, 2027Work Model: Hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 remote day per week)Schedule: Office hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday but schedule will flex to accommodate required presence at evening and weekend events.Position OverviewThe Arts & Events Marketing Manager is a full-time, fixed-term six-month position, with a start date of September 1, 2026 and an end date of February 28, 2027. The Arts & Events Marketing Manager will work closely with the other members of the marketing team and colleagues across departments to coordinate and execute marketing plans for L’Alliance New York’s events and to meet revenue goals.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and execute marketing plans for events in the Crossing The Line and Animation First festivals, Cinema programming, wine tasting series, and Family Saturdays, as well as the Gala de L’Alliance New York and other events.Collaborate with Cultural Programming, Development, Operations, the Executive Office, artists, and external partners to align on strategy and execution.Monitor, analyze, and report on event ticket sales.Develop brand-aligned marketing materials to promote events in collaboration with the marketing and design teams as well as the cultural programming and development departments.Produce copy for emails, web pages, blog posts, and print materials, advertising, and social media.Track timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.Route marketing assets for approval, trafficking and distributing them as needed.Communicate in a professional manner with co-presenters, venues, vendors, and other partners.Pursue new opportunities to promote and activate the L’Alliance New York brand.Coordinate with Development and Executive Office on VIP recognition, seating, and photography.Collaborate with the box office manager on seating and ticketing strategies.Ensure consistent brand representation at all L’Alliance events.Work with, manage, and support vendors as needed.Attend events on evenings and weekends as needed.Familiarity with Microsoft and Adobe suites and CMS platforms such as Raiser’s Edge/NXT and Ticket Tailor.Who You AreThis role may be a great fit if:Are passionate about marketing the arts.Love working in mission-driven nonprofit organizations.Have strong written and oral communication skills.Thrive on deadlines.Are well-organized.Can juggle multiple priorities without breaking a sweat, shifting gears when necessary.Communicate proactively and keep everyone in the loop.Demonstrate strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.Like collaborating to bring creative concepts to life from initial creative idea to final production.Are adaptable, resourceful, and unflappable in a fast-paced environment.Experience & QualificationsMust hold valid U.S. work authorization.Strong background in arts and event marketing.Bachelor’s degree in the liberal arts or related fields, or equivalent experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Bilingual French/English is a plus.Deadline- and detail-oriented.A collaborative mindset and an ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.Available to work on evenings and weekends at L’Alliance New York events as needed.L’Alliance New York is the city’s premier center for French language and francophone arts and cultures.
