The successful candidate will be self-motivated and ambitious, as well as eager to gain broad experience in a leading and international contemporary art gallery. This position requires the utmost discretion and reliability, as well as sound judgement to make decisions independently when necessary, while also possessing the skills and demeanor to work within a larger team. The ideal candidate should also have an educational background in Art History and 2–3 years of experience working in a gallery or similar setting. Knowledge of ArtBase or ArtLogic software is preferred.Sales Assistant Responsibilities• Draft communications and send sales previews of exhibitions, art fairs, and auctions on behalf of the Founders• Facilitate the post-sale process together with the Founders\' registrar• Manage the Founders\' outreach and sales activity in the inventory database• Manage the Founders\' contacts in the contact database• Conduct market research for secondary market works• Identify and research new potential sales targets• Interact with prospective and existing clients, occasionally conducting viewings on their behalf• Proactively brainstorm offer ideas for existing clientsExecutive Assistant Responsibilities• Monitor and maintain the Founders\' email: flag correspondence for follow-up, draft replies• Maintain a daily to-do list, including a list of contacts for follow-up• Help coordinate the Founders\' weekly meeting schedule with all departments and maintain their calendars• Coordinate frequent travel arrangements with a dedicated travel agent; build clear, comprehensive itineraries around their schedules• Communicate with the leadership team on behalf of the FoundersArtist Liaison Responsibilities• Coordinate with the department to prioritize artist meetings, studio visits, and trips to exhibitions• Communicate the Founders\' travel to the gallery team and preempt possible visits, trips, and shows they should attend globally• Assist the department in organizing prospective Artist of Interest action points, and move conversations forward through the Founders
