APF Munn, a high-end custom framing studio with a showroom in Manhattan and a workshop in Queens, is seeking a Custom Framing Designer & Client Services professional to join our team.The role combines client-facing responsibilities in our Manhattan showroom with a supporting role in production at our Queens workshop.This position offers exposure to all aspects of our business operations.ResponsibilitiesGuide clients through the design process, from material selection and pricing through approval and production timelinesRespond to client inquiries and provide estimatesBuild and maintain client relationships and contribute to the growth of the businessManage multiple projects and ensure details, approvals, and deadlines are handled accuratelyWork between the Manhattan showroom and Queens workshopSupport production by communicating designs to our skilled artisans and helping track frames in production.Provide customer service support to our wholesale parent company.QualificationsExperience in framing, art, or designExcellent customer service and communication skillsExperience working with clients in the art and design community, including designers, collectors, artists, museums, or art consultantsStrong design sense and visual judgmentHighly organized, with strong follow-throughAble to take ownership of projects and work effectively with the showroom and workshop teamsExperience with art handling, frame preservation, or conservation is a plusThis is a full time position, Monday - Friday.
