This is a full-time on-site role for a Program Coordinator located in New York, NY. The Program Coordinator will assist with program operations, coordination of dance classes, and scheduling performance opportunities. Responsibilities include managing communications with instructors, families, and volunteers, overseeing program logistics, and contributing to the planning and execution of events. The role requires someone who can act as a liaison between staff, participants, and the broader community while ensuring smooth program operations. This role sits at the intersection of student programming, community partnerships, and organizational operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and genuinely excited about expanding dance opportunities for girls in Harlem.Key ResponsibilitiesProgramming & PerformancesActively seek out dance-related performance opportunities in the Harlem community and beyond for the purpose of giving girls experience, exposing them to new places, and increasing self-confidence through performingManage and coordinate all external performance opportunities, including logistics, communication with partner organizations, and student preparationCo-lead preparation for the annual recital, including costumes, music, and family communicationsCo-lead preparation for summer camp programming, including planning, staffing, and enrollmentSub dance classes as needed to ensure program continuityAfter-School ProgramsOversee the day-to-day management of after-school programs, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for students and familiesServe as a point of contact for families and partnersScholarshipsServe as the contact for scholarships at ATDF and other dance schoolsCoordinate the summer scholarships that our girls have the opportunity to receiveInterns & OperationsOversee interns, including onboarding, task assignment, supervision, and feedbackIn-kind donations and costume inventoryTake initiative to identify and resolve operational issues — if something needs fixing, either address it directly or ensure the right person is called inWhat We\'re Looking ForSpanish-speaking.
