This role sits at the intersection of sales, branding, and customer experience. The primary objective is to generate business, build trust in the market, and control the dealership’s online reputation through direct customer interaction, social media presence, and consistent follow-up.
Daily responsibilities include engaging with incoming leads across all platforms—phone, text, email, website chat, and social media—while maintaining fast response times and professional communication. Every interaction should move the customer closer to a visit, appointment, or purchase while reinforcing a strong, transparent brand image.
You are expected to actively create and post content that showcases inventory, customer deliveries, testimonials, and day-to-day dealership activity. This includes short-form video, photos, and live interactions that position you as both a product expert and a trusted local voice. Consistency and authenticity matter more than perfection.
Reputation management is a core function of the role. You will request and secure customer reviews, respond to feedback, and ensure every client leaves with a positive impression—whether they purchase or not. Monitoring Google reviews, social comments, and online mentions is part of the daily workflow, along with addressing any issues quickly and professionally.
On the sales side, responsibilities include greeting customers, conducting needs assessments, presenting vehicles, going on test drives, and guiding the customer through the full buying process. Accurate CRM usage is required at all times—logging activity, setting follow-ups, and documenting each interaction clearly.
Lot management and merchandising are also part of the role. Vehicles should be clean, properly displayed, and fully ready for sale, including window stickers, buyer’s guides, and online listings that match actual inventory. Attention to detail on the lot directly impacts online perception.
You are expected to stay ahead of the day—reviewing appointments, following up on unsold opportunities, checking inbound leads, and keeping communication active with both new and existing customers. The role requires urgency, consistency, and accountability.
Success in this position is measured by units sold, appointment set and show rates, customer satisfaction scores, online review volume and quality, and overall contribution to the dealership’s digital presence and reputation.
