About The role
We’re looking for a part-time Sales Associate to join beck home + goods in Woodstock, NY. In this role, you’ll welcome, educate and share our story and guide customers through the in-store experience. You’ll play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our customers while delivering exceptional customer service and building customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service by creating a warm and friendly environment, educates customers on our products and makers while helping customers find the right products
- Builds relationships with customers to drive repeat visits
- Develops knowledge of our makers, products and the unique details that makes us special
- Works to achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales goals
- Performs POS functions, store organization and inventory maintenance
- Assists with pulling and packing online orders
- Assists with stock work as needed
- Regularly cleans the store, including dusting, mopping, and general upkeep
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years previous retail sales experience is required
- Previous experience with Shopify and Apple products is a plus
- On-the-job training provided
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
- Must be able to lift 0 to 25 lbs without assistance.
- Can bend, reach, lift and move stock and product as necessary.
