Representing more than seventy artists, as well as major foundations and estates, Gladstone has played a significant role in launching the careers of several of the most notable artists working today.Position Summary:The Assistant Registrar will support the Registrar team and Inventory Manager in shipping logistics and administrative duties related to the secure movement of artwork.Responsibilities:Requesting shipping estimates and assisting with shipments. Often time sensitive.Database entry and administrative supportAssist with condition reports as neededCoordinate with the Warehouse Manager, Inventory Manager, and Preparators to prepare works for shipments.Work as a team with other Registrars to complete projects in a timely manner.Qualifications:Local and domestic shipping experience.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to keep confidential information secure and private. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and ArtBase or related software.Bachelor’s Degree in Art History, Museum studies or related field. Master Degree preferred.Hours are Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm. Occasional flexibility is required.
