This archiving/cataloguing position focuses on building the legacy of Judy Seigel (1930-2017), pioneering feminist abstract painter, mixed-media photographer, book author and journal publisher based in Greenwich Village. The archivist will work in the artist’s Greenwich Village studio handling physical artworks as well as updating and managing the estate’s digital databases. Experience with Filemaker, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Dropbox is critical. A bonus is personal or work experience with social media. The focus of this posting is archival with strong imaging skills. We welcome multi-skills that might dovetail with our website, social media and exhibition building.
