Position Summary: Bidsquare is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to support the growth of our software platform, Bidsquare Cloud. This role is focused on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with auction houses, and helping guide prospective clients through the software sales and onboarding process. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience in SaaS or technology sales who enjoys outbound prospecting, understanding client needs, and presenting solutions that solve real business problems. You will work closely with internal teams to learn the product and champion the solution as you introduce Bidsquare Cloud to auction houses and help expand our client base. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, curious, and excited to work at the intersection of technology, art, and the auction industry. Responsibilities: ● Outbound Sales Outreach: Identify and reach out to prospective auction house clients through calls, email, networking, and industry events. ● Pipeline Development: Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities and track progress through the sales cycle. ● Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of Bidsquare Cloud’s features, benefits, and competitive advantages. ● Client Needs Assessment: Learn about prospective clients’ workflows and challenges and position Bidsquare Cloud as a solution. ● Sales Presentations & Demos: Support product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.● Closing Sales: Communicate Bidsquare Cloud’s value proposition, help negotiate terms, and assist in closing new business. ● Relationship Building: Build trust with prospective and current clients to support long-term partnerships. ● Sales Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate pipeline data and activity tracking within CRM systems. ● Industry Awareness: Stay informed on trends within the auction industry, ecommerce, and competing platforms. Qualifications: 3–6 years of experience in SaaS sales, technology sales, or business development, auction software is a pls Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field preferred Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce ● Strong written and verbal communication skills ● Ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain an organized pipeline ● Comfortable conducting outbound outreach and prospecting ● Knowledge of the auction, art, antiques, or collectibles industry is a plus but not required Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentWhile this is a remote position, the ideal candidate will reside in the New York Metro area, so as to be available for NY office meetings.
