The School of Nursing at SUNY Brockport is
accepting applications for anticipated part-time adjunct faculty openings for clinical supervision of students at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Teaching (100%)- Teaches assigned courses
- Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate
- Produces effective course materials
- Achieves student learning outcomes
- Clinical supervision of students in the health care setting
- Completes clinical evaluation on each student supervised in the classroom setting
- Corrects assignments affiliated with the clinical course
- Attends faculty meetings as needed depending on the clinical course taught
Minimum Qualifications:- Master’s degree in nursing from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university, or an appropriate level of experience commensurate with the adjunct lecturer clinical supervision responsibilities
- Valid NYS professional nursing license
- Knowledge and experience in the supervision of students
- Ability to work effectively with students, public, college community and external constituencies, with an appreciation for cultural and group differences
Preferred Qualifications:- Previous clinical teaching experience
Work Schedule: Variable
Salary and Benefits:
$5,500 stipend per 3 credit didactic course or $3,280 per clinical credit. May be benefits eligible. Find out more about benefits at Careers@Brockport.
