As part of our sales team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the short and long term success of a privately-owned small business backed by the support of the largest fence contractor in the US. Pay starts at $50,000 + 10% of the gross profit as commission with no commission caps. Average compensation is $95-120k with top performers earning well into six figures.

Job Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Networking: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by building relationships with potential clients through cold calls, networking events, and industry connections.
- Reviewing Bid Packages: Analyze project specifications and bid documents to determine the scope of work, materials, and labor required for accurate proposal submissions.
- Preparing Proposals & Estimates: Develop detailed proposals and cost estimates, including materials, labor, and timelines, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with current clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and seeking opportunities for repeat business.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with operations managers and installation teams to ensure proposals align with operational capabilities.
- Project Management and Execution:
- Job Scheduling and Coordination: Organize and coordinate installation teams to maintain project timelines and ensure efficient workflow.
- Material Management: Coordinate material orders, manage materials and equipment necessary for project execution, ensuring timely delivery to job sites.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of fence projects, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project deadlines.
- Achieving Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales goals by effectively managing the sales pipeline and closing deals.
- Growth Strategy: Work jointly with the Executive team in identifying, understanding, and capitalizing on market trends and opportunities.
Minimum skillset required to achieve desired outcomes:
- Have 2-3 years of estimating experience in commercial and public works construction - preferably in the fencing and/or guardrail industry (or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience)
- Have (2 - 3) years of Management of Commercial Projects experience
- Able to read, understand, and interpret blueprints and perform detailed and accurate take-offs
- Able to read, understand and interpret technical specifications and special provisions

- Able to maintain confidentiality of all company proprietary information
